The folks at Dreamworks have released exclusive first images of Real Steel with official synopsis of the film directed by Shawn Levy.
Scheduled to launch on November 18, 2011, in Real Steel Movie will be starring Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, Dakota Goyo, Kevin Durandsi Anthony Mackie.

Real Steel is a real action movie set in the near future, where boxing as a sport has evolved to a high-tech. Hugh Jackman plays Charlie Kenton, a boxer whose career went into decline after losing title opportunity in front of the robots that have seized the ring. Arriving just a simple worker who earn their livelihood, he decides with her son, Max, to build and train a new pretender to the title.
Director Shawn Levy has confirmed that he really wants Hugh Jackman for his next movie project called Real Steel. It plans to make a science fiction movie, entitled "Real Steel" based on a story written by Richard Matheson, which Levy describes as a father-son drama set in the near future, where boxing's between robots will become a practiced sport .
In Real Steel is a world where robots replace people boxing, Jackman would play a character of "Rocky" looking for a last chance to assert itself.
"The Real Steel movie will bring more of Rocky than the Transformers. Transformers Robots will be no way Wall-E. Will be built by humans and machines will be fighting with people about the same size, built for performance. People in this movie are tired of human violence, and demand for something in creating the sport evolved. "Said the director.
Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider have given the green light for this futuristic Rocky, starring Hugh Jackman. Variety announced that Jackman is officially on board this Real Steel project, filming is scheduled to begin in June 2010.
Budget for Real Steel movie will be only 80 million dollars, Real Steel is adapted from short story written by Richard Matheson, which has been screened so far in an episode of "Twilight Zone".
